 What is the 
Lehigh Valley Winter Classic? 

This an all day ice hockey celebration with all the proceeds going to the Special Hockey of the Lehigh Valley.

 

Special Hockey of the Lehigh Valley gives children and adults with Autism, Down Syndrome, and other cognitive challenges, the chance to learn and play ice hockey in an inclusive and supportive environment.

 

The event includes full regulation hockey games of all levels, merchandise to purchase, a huge gift basket raffle section, silent auctions, and amazing food by MMG Concessions.

Become a Polar Bear

No prior hockey or skating experience is required to join—new players are provided with assistive equipment and work 1-on-1 with one of over 30 volunteer coaches until they are ready to skate on their own. 

Raffle Baskets

Raffle baskets are a huge part of the event day with over 80 special and unique baskets contributed by local families and businesses.  Learn how you can provide a basket or items for our cause.
